Hernandez Awarded Second OTF Freshman of the Week Honor
ATLANTA - Sprinter Rey Hernandez picked up his second-career ASUN Freshman Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. The freshman of Lakeland, Fla., broke yet another program record with his third of the track season in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.62 for 14th overall at the Georgia Tech Invitational. He also ran in the 400mH finals for 10th overall, where he clocked in at 53.01, just half-a-second shy a pair of program records in the same meet.
