CLARKSVILLE — Visiting New Albany scored four times in the top of the eighth inning to earn a 9-6 win at Providence in a back-and-forth high school softball game Tuesday evening. The two teams were tied at 2-all through four frames before the Bulldogs edged ahead on a solo home run by freshman Claire Belcher in the top of the fifth. They added another run in the sixth before the Pioneers responded with three runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead.
