INDIANAPOLIS — The UIndy softball team earned the No. 1 spot in the latest NCAA Division II Midwest Regional rankings, released Wednesday. G-MAC contenders Trevecca and Ohio Dominican came in second and third, respectively, while GLVC-rival Lewis is at No. 4. When the full NCAA field is announced May 6, the region's top eight teams will be paired off into two double-elimination tournaments, held on campus sites May 9-11.
