BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford senior shortstop Garrett Howe was named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, The College Baseball Foundation announced Wednesday. The Brooks Wallace Award goes to the top shortstop in all of college baseball. The top 100 shortstops were included on the watch list. So far this season, Howe is batting .384 with 11 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 32 RBI.
