NEW YORK, N.Y. – Purchase College sophomore Yuta Kawamura was named to the Skyline Conference Men’s Tennis Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced Wednesday. Over three matches (3-0) Kawamura (SO/Old Greenwich, CT) won all six contests he played, in decisive fashion. Against Sarah Lawrence, he won 8-1 and 6-0, 6-1. Against Lehman, he won 8-0 and 6-0, 6-0. Against Hunter, he won 8-4 and 6-0, 6-1. This marks the Kawamura’s first award of the 2024 season, alongside the Panthers’ first recognition.
