Lake Country Lutheran pummels Brookfield Academy

HARTLAND — The Lake Country Lutheran baseball team dispatched its Midwest Classic Conference rival, Brookfield Academy, 21-0 in five innings on Tuesday night. A 15-run second inning helped propel the Lightning to victory. Senior Tyler Howard went a perfect 5-for-5 from the plate with a double and four RBIs. Junior Jack Poellot was also perfect at the dish, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Another of those with a three-hit day was Maddux Kiley who, like Poellot, also drove in two runs.
