Mane Secures First NEC Weekly Honor of Outdoor Season

BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- FDU’s Salif Mane has earned himself NEC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in the outdoor season. Mane traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to participate in the Virginia Invitational, where he came up big with a first-place finish in the men’s triple jump. The six time All-American took home the win in his first mark of the meet, with a distance of 16.34m. The next closest competitor was Chidozie Kalu of Virginia Tech who jumped 15.85m.
