Matt Fallon Tabbed PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Performer of the Year
PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team's Matthew Fallon was named PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Year on Monday afternoon. Fallon, a junior from Warren, N.J., finished as the year's runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division I Championships, earning first-team All-America honors for the second time in his career. His time of 1:48.48 set a new Ivy League and Penn record and is the seventh-fastest in NCAA history.
