Men’s golf’s Keba named ODAC Golfer of the Week

FOREST, Va. — Averett University men’s golf freshman John Keba was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after winning Emory University’s Spring Invitational by Discover Dekalb over the weekend. Keba made par on the final hole helped him edge Emory’s Michael Burry by one stroke to lift Keba to his first individual win Sunday. Keba shot a 1-under-par 71 during the final round to finish at 5-over for the 54-hole tournament, one stroke ahead of Burry and Washington and Lee University’s Jonathan McEwen.
