Miners close GLVC slate this weekend looking to lock up tournament berth

By: John Kean, Athletic Communications Director ROLLA, Mo. – One weekend remains in Missouri S&T's regular season softball schedule and the Miners are looking to make the most of it to earn its first appearance in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament in six seasons when it hosts a pair of doubleheaders this weekend. Missouri S&T will take on Upper Iowa in a noon twinbill at the S&T Softball Field, then close the regular season slate Sunday when Truman State comes to town for a doubleheader that will also get underway at noon.
