Nelander Win Sends Rhody to A-10 Quarterfinals
ORLANDO, Fla. – Rhode Island won four out of five completed singles matches to defeat St. Bonaventure and advance to the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Women's Championship Wednesday afternoon. The Rams (14-6) found themselves in a 2-0 hole after St. Bonaventure took the doubles point and Isabella Venter defeated Nadia Rajan in straight sets at No. 2 singles. However, the rest of the matches belonged to Rhode Island, which won its opening round match for the second straight year.
