Oldroyd earns spot at Olympic Trials, named WAC Field Athlete of the Week

OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University's Kelsi Oldroyd qualified for the 2024 Olympic Trials in the javelin with her performance last week at the Mt. Sac Relays. On Wednesday she was also named the WAC TicketSmarter Field Athlete of the Week for that performance, receiving the honor for the second week straight week. OIdroyd qualified for the trials with her throw of 54.34 meters, which leads the WAC, ranks ninth in the West, and is 10th nationally.
