Schoemann hired Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Rice

Rice Men’s Basketball Coach Rob Lanier has named Jack Schoemann as Special Assistant to the Head Coach. Schoemann spent last year in the same role at SMU. He joined the Mustangs after serving as a graduate assistant at Cal State Bakersfield in 2022-23, where he played for the Roadrunners from 2019-22. As a graduate assistant, he assisted with player development, film/video coordination and travel logistics.
