Softball Captures Victory over Sacred Heart on Wednesday
The Central Connecticut softball team salvaged the conference series with a win on Wednesday at Pioneer Field. Kaylee Whittaker (12-7) earned her twelfth win of the season after giving up just three hits and one run in 7.0 innings pitched with six strikeouts. The Blue Devils tallied seven hits and drove in four runs to earn a win. Paige Stringer was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Grace Lawton and Regan Vunak also added RBIs.
