NORTHAMPTON – The Smith College tennis team cruised to an 8-1 win over Springfield in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action Tuesday afternoon. With the win, Smith improves to 10-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The 10 wins are the most since the 2002-03 season and Smith has earned hosting rights for the first time dating back to 2004.
