Terps Thrash Towson In Five Innings, 11-2

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Despite falling behind by two runs in the top of the first inning, Maryland softball thrashed Towson, 11-2, at Maryland Softball Stadium on Wednesday. Maryland (19-27) scored 10 unanswered runs through the first, second and fourth innings. Towson (19-28) had no answers for Marylad's lineup, which registered 12 hits. Jaeda McFarland , Sydney Lewis , Diamond Williams , Michaela Jones and Hannah Runk recorded multiple hits. It was Runk's first career game with two or more knocks.
