WestConn Baseball Loses Against Wesleyan

DANBURY, Conn. – The Western Connecticut State University Wolves and the visiting Wesleyan University Cardinals were tied, 3-3, after five innings, but the home team gave up 16 runs over the final four innings to lose, 19-3, in baseball action this afternoon at Westside Field. The Wolves fall to 5-23 and the Cardinals improve to 21-7. WestConn plays its third game in three days tomorrow at Hartford at 3 p.m. Freshmen Richard Salonia (Bronx, N.Y.) and Ryan Vallie (East Haven, Conn.) each had two hits for the Wolves.
