Women’s Tennis Sweeps Singles En Route to 8-1 Victory Over Lycoming
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The University of Scranton women’s tennis team (8-7, 6-2 Landmark) won all six singles matches en route to an 8-1 victory over the Lycoming Warriors (3-12, 2-6 Landmark) on Wednesday evening at Brandon Park in Williamsport. Scranton led 2-1 after doubles as the duo of graduate student Lily Nowak (Freeland, Pa./Hazleton Area)/freshman Gisele Falzone (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Scramton Prep) recorded an 8-1 victory at the first flight and junior Daniella Wisniewski (Bedminster, N.J./Bernards)/freshman Kyleigh McNulty (Bay Shore, N.Y./St. Anthony’s) recorded an 8-3 win in second doubles action.
