Yellowjackets Fall to Saints in Non-Conference Matchup

DULUTH, Minn . – The Yellowjacket baseball team ventured into non-conference action Wednesday, facing off against former Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) foe and current Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) member St. Scholastica. This was the fourth-straight game the Yellowjackets have played at Historic Wade Stadium, as UWS hosted Minnesota Morris over the weekend. Due to anticipated weather conditions near the Twin Cities, the ‘Jackets were forced to reschedule their opening UMAC game versus Northwestern to Thursday. Because of the change, this prompted Yellowjacket skipper TJ Oakes to turn to his bench Wednesday and save his starters for conference action.…
