AU Men, Women Lose In Opening Round Of G-MAC Tennis Tournament

Ashland University's men's and women's tennis teams lost in the first round of the 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship on Thursday (April 25) in Owensboro, Ky.. The Eagle men lost 4-0 to Walsh to end 2023-24 at 13-6 – their highest single-season win total since 2018-19 (also 13). Ashland won one of the three doubles matchups, as sophomore Tomas Paskauskas and freshman Batsomi Marobela took a 7-5 decision at No. 1. AU's women lost 4-0 to Findlay to finish the season at 14-9. Those victories are the most in a season since 2011-12 (18).
