Augusta University Dominates Southland Women’s Golf Awards: Carroll Named Player of the Year
FRISCO, Texas – Augusta University’s Kennedy Carroll was named the Southland Conference Women’s Golf Player of the Year, headlining the league’s all-conference selections announced Thursday. Carroll’s selection marked one of four for the Jaguars in the superlative category with Caroline Haase-Hegg taking Coach of the Year, Emma Charles Newcomer of the Year and Keira Gonzalez McCarthy earning Freshman of the Year. Haase-Hegg lead Augusta to its third straight SLC Championship triumph amid the largest margin of victory in the history of the tournament.
