Bill Knight Automotive spring athletes of the week: Fort GIbson’s Layne Ailshie, Broken Arrow’s Jordan Myers and Regent Prep’s Bo Bayless

Ailshie shot a 77 and tied with Sallisaw’s Avery Haywood atop the Class 4A regional leaderboard Wednesday at Pryor Creek Golf Course. And Fort Gibson won the team title with a 325. Ailshie also won an individual crown at the Pryor course last week. Pitcher/third baseman finished up District 6A-3 on a high note with a near no-hitter of Piedmont – which claimed the district crown.
