Boston University’s Ty Gallagher transfers to Colorado College

Former Boston University defenseman Ty Gallagher has transferred to Colorado College, it was announced Wednesday. The 2021 seventh round pick (217th overall) of the Boston Bruins spent three seasons with the Terriers, collecting 42 points in 111 games. After seeing his production fall off this year, Gallagher heads to a Tigers program in his last year of eligibility with the hopes of earning an NHL contract.
