CNU Women’s Tennis Ranked Among Best in the Nation as a Team; Weis, Trate Also Ranked Nationally
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Christopher Newport women’s tennis team held its position at No. 19 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) computerized rankings while the organization also released singles and doubles national rankings for the first time this spring. The NCAA also released the Division III regional rankings where the Captains are ranked No. 4 in Region IV. Christopher Newport is 11-5 overall through the conclusion of the regular season with marquee wins against No. 20 Denison, No. 36 RPI, and No. 21 Mary Washington.
