GC men’s track and field team has big performances at Kip Janvrin Invite
Results INDIANOLA, Iowa – Grinnell College’s men’s track and field team competed against a large field consisting of athletes from all levels of NCAA and NAIA Thursday at the Kip Janvrin Invitational. The Pioneers fared well at the meet, with Brian Goodell ’24 leading the way with a runner-up finish in the 3000-meter run. His time was 9 minutes, 15.54 seconds. Cole Delaney ’27 was 13th in the javelin with a toss of 37.22 meters, while Connor Heagy ’26 took 28th in the 5000 with a time of 15:18.81. The meet continues Friday.
