ALLENDALE, Mich. (4/25/2024) -- University of Detroit Mercy track and field graduate senior Oscar Hernandez and freshman Christopher Russelburg posted some impressive times at Grand Valley State's Extra Weekend Meet on Thursday night. Both distance runners took part in the 5,000-meters as Russelburg was 21st in 15:00.20, while Hernandez posted a career time by nearly 30 seconds running 15:08.09 for 29th. Both Titans will now get ready for the Horizon League Championship next weekend.
