Lady Chargers beat defending state champs 6-3

MOUNT WASHINGTON – It was a short week for the Bullitt East Lady Chargers, but it was very productive as the program picked up one of its most impressive wins in years on Wednesday when the red and gold defeated defending state champion Ballard 6-3. After playing just one game the previous week because of inclement weather, the Lady Chargers played just two games last week just because that was the way that the schedule fell.
