Local tennis teams racing to the post-season

MOUNT WASHINGTON – The Bullitt East boys’ tennis team faced a top Fifth Region foe Friday. The Chargers fell 3-2 to North Hardin. At singles, Vicente Garcia defeated Bullitt East’ Andrew Kruse 6-4, 6-3. At the second court singles, North Hardin’s Lex Cornwell defeated Walker Humphrey 6-4, 6-4. The Chargers’ Caleb Riddle did win on court three by defeating Daniel Arcilla 6-4, 6-2. In doubles, the top Charger duo of Barrett Armstrong and Maddux Haysley defeated Daniel Saltsman and Ronin Vaughan 6-2, 6-2.
