Men’s Track & Field: McKee Wins 5000m to Kickoff Rider/Bolstorff Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester men’s track & field team opened up competition of the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational tonight with the 5000m run and the hammer throw. Junior Reece McKee (Charlotte, Va./Charlottesville) led Macalester and took first in the 5000m run. McKee ran a time of 14:51.81 to claim victory in the 5000m run. Sophomore Tyler Edwards (Beaverton, Ore./Oregon Episcopal) came in just behind McKee with a time of 15:09.96. Senior Alexander Fendig (Chevy Chase, Md./Sandy Spring Friends School) took fifth with a personal record time of 15:33.23.
