Odle shatters school record in 3000m steeplechase at Kip Janvrin Open

Lauren Beck INDIANOLA, Iowa — Members of the Augustana Vikings women’s and men’s track & field teams competed at the Kip Janvrin Open on Thursday. On the women’s side, Emma Odle broke her own school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing in first place with a time of 10:58.96. She shattered the previous school record of 11:09.85 set by herself last season. Anna Boardman finished 11th in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:41.52.
