Trio of Sunbirds Named to All-WWPA Teams

FRESNO, Calif.- A trio of Sunbirds were named to the 2024 All-WWPA Teams the conference announced Thursday morning. Tatum Benson was elected to the 1st Team All-WWPA for her historic scoring season. Benson ended the regular season with 58 goals. Her 58 goals lead all Sunbird scorers and places her third in the WWPA. This is Benson's second consecutive 1st-Team WWPA honors after receiving the recognition last season. Emily Lopez-Ibarra was selected for two teams, Honorable Mention and All-Defensive.
