BYU added another player to the quarterback competition as Utah State transfer McCae Hillstead committed to BYU. Hillstead will be a sophomore this coming season. A Skyridge HS (Lehi, Utah) product, Hillstead had a productive freshman season at Utah State. Hillstead started 4 of 8 games he played in, throwing for 1,062 yards, 11 TDs, and 8 interceptions with a 59.5% completion percentage.
