Wesley Guides the FVSU Men on SIAC Track & Field Champ Day 1

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats set a good tone on the first day. Fort Valley State had a trio of men placing on Day 1 of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Track & Field Championship. Bashan Wesley guided the Wildcat effort as he leaped his way to a runner-up finish in the long jump covering 7.27 meters. Teammate Cornelius Cooks II made it two FVSU men in the top eight of the event with a distance of 6.61 meters for seventh.
