Wildcats Lead Women’s Field After SIAC Track & Field Champ Day 1
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats hope to keep it rolling in the final two days. Fort Valley State leads the women's team standings after Day 1 of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Track & Field Championship. FVSU captured four placers in the opening day's three finals with Nadejah Batts and Aquila Kerr both taking one second place each. Batts threw for the runner-up finish at the hammer throw at 41.92 meters, while teammate Miniya Miller was only a hundreth of a meter behind in third at 41.91 meters.
