RADFORD, Va. – The Gardner-Webb University baseball team defeated the Highlanders of Radford University on Friday night by a final of 9-1. The game was the opener of a three-game Big South weekend series. Mark Black got things started in the first frame with a homerun to left. Alec Burns than came home on a throwing error making it 2-0.
