BHS track teams compete at Crete Invite

CRETE -- The Beatrice boys finished third at the Crete Invite while the girls team finished fifth. The Orangemen finished with 48 points, which put them behind champion Norris' 204 points and runner-up Waverly's 128 points. The Lady O finished with 35 points, which put them behind Waverly's 146, Norris' 144, Adams Central's 66 and Crete's 40. Top six finishes for the Beatrice boys included Josiah Quinones winning the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.87 and Lucas Frazier finishing third in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:11.81.
