Colleges with the most 1st-round QBs in NFL draft history
DETRIOT (BVM) – Only eight college football teams in history have had five or more quarterbacks drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.
The 2024 NFL Draft made history by tying the league’s record for the most quarterbacks taken in round 1 (six). With that in mind, see which college football programs have the winning formula for producing top quarterbacks (between 1936 and 2024).
Methodology: Data was collected from Pro Football Reference, which lists the last school that the QB played for. Only NFL draft picks are included; AFL and supplemental picks are not.
