Comeback bid falls short against Assumption
WALTHAM, Mass. – Four Falcons put forth multi-hit efforts, but the Bentley baseball team couldn't overcome a 7-1 deficit in its 7-5 loss against Assumption Friday afternoon. The Falcons were down by six runs through six innings, but they chipped away and ended up having the tying run at the plate in the ninth inning. Bentley's comeback bid started in the seventh inning, when Tyler Gonzalez led off by getting hit by a pitch. Jackson Walonis and Brian Lindsay loaded the bases by hitting consecutive singles.
