Cougars Drop Game One at Monmouth

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The College of Charleston softball team lost 4-1 to Monmouth on Friday afternoon. The Hawks struck first early with three runs in the first inning and their fourth run in the second frame off a sacrifice fly. McKenna Kelly pitched a complete game and matched her career-high six strikeouts, shutting out the Hawks over the final four innings.
