Cougars Drop Series Opener at Stevens

The Misericordia University baseball team had its 10-game winning streak snapped as the Cougars dropped the series opener at Stevens, 4-3, Friday. Brock Bollinger had two hits for MU and Jack Regenye had a hit and scored two runs. Connor Maryniak and Joe Comins both had hits and drove in a run. Joe Valenti was the tough-luck loser as he allowed just three earned runs over 7.2 innings. The Ducks took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first as their first four batters reached base.
