BROOKVILLE, N.Y. --The Delaware State Hornets had a tough showing on Friday, falling to the LIU Sharks 8-1 despite the efforts of senior Colon, who went 2-for-4 with a double. Sophomore Messmore (1-3) got the ball to start for Delaware State (14-19, 16-6) and took the loss.
