Elon Track & Field Achievements at Charlotte Invitational: McGoogan, Metz, Beville Shine

Charlotte, N.C. – The Elon University track & field team posted eight personal bests across six events on the opening day of the Charlotte Invitational Friday. Two of those PRs placed student-athletes on Elon’s all-time top ten lists. NOTABLE PERFORMANCES Kaitlin McGoogan led Elon in the hammer throw, finishing fifth with a distance of 176-feet-7 (53.82m), but teammate Amelia Metz also put together a strong performance.
