TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Junior Samantha Smith hit a grand slam to help propel the Florida A&M Rattlers past the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 9-1 on Friday as the Rattlers clinched the one-seed in the SWAC East. Freshman Zoryana Hughes (13-2) started in the circle and picked up the win for Florida A&M (22-17, 18-4).
