FVSU’s Batts Throws Best Women’s Shot Put at SIAC Championship

ATLANTA, Ga. – After a solid first day, the Wildcat claimed a Friday title. Fort Valley State's Nadejah Batts threw her way to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Shot Put top spot of the Championship Second Day. By a distance of 0.41 meters, Batts recorded the best shot put throw of 12.40 meters for the Conference title. Batts throwing teammate, Miniya Miller posted a pair of placings with a fifth in the shot put herself in 11.56 meters and the same spot of fifth in the discus at 38.22 meters.
