Each March, the Memphis Grizzlies hosts its annual Girls Summit presented by Nike. In its sixth year, with the support of the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis, approximately 200 middle school girls spent the day sampling both traditional sports and non-traditional sports. This year’s experiences included Basketball, Cheer, Volleyball, and Soccer. Nike facilitated a sports bra fitting station to take a moment that can be uncomfortable for some young girls and turn it into a moment of empowerment.
