The bats came alive Tuesday for the Wilmot softball team. Finally, the Panthers can put that '1' in the win column. Thanks to a season-high 26 hits, Wilmot won at Lake Geneva Badger 22-12, improving its overall season record to 1-8. Sophomore Taylor Walter went 4-for-6 with a home run to lead Wilmot. Furthermore, Macy Platts was 4-for-5, and Ellie Eggert went 4-for-6. Kinlee Abell, Kylie Linn, Patience Klein and Allie Rimer each added three hits for the Panthers.
