LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell baseball team split their Friday doubleheader against Lewis University, due to upcoming weather concerns the teams played a doubleheader in place of a normal Friday single game; a full nine inning first game, followed by a seven inning second game. Jewell held on in game one for a 11-10 win, while dropping the second game 12-6.
