Jones inks 3yr extension at Texas Southern

The Texas Southern University Board of Regents has approved a three-year contract extension for head men’s basketball coach Johnny Jones, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Kevin Granger announced Friday. The extension will keep Jones as head coach of the Tigers through the 2029 season. Since Jones’ arrival at TSU in 2018, the Tigers have participated in five consecutive postseason tournaments (3 NCAA, 2 CIT) with five postseason wins.
