Men’s Golf in Eighth Place After First Round of WAC Championship

PAYSON, Ariz. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's golf team sits in eighth place after the first round of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship on Friday at The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines Golf Course. The Vaqueros opened the WAC Championship with a first round team score of 302 and are three shots out of the top-five. UT Arlington holds the first day lead with a first round 290.
