Men’s tennis closes season in SAA tournament
MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—In a rematch of a close 6-3 loss during the regular season, the Oglethorpe men’s tennis team fell again to Rhodes 5-2 to end the 2024 campaign Friday in the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association tournament. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place at Old Fort Park, but rain forced action to be moved indoors to Adams Tennis Center. Oglethorpe’s previous meeting saw three Rhodes points decided in tiebreaks, meaning the Stormy Petrels needed only to flip two of those results to come away with the quarterfinal win.
